Filters
The growing “density” of electronic devices inevitably leads to an increased demand for better noise suppression of electronic or electric units (either active or passive). On one side wanted frequencies should only be emitted according to authorized standards, on the other side interference immunity is a criterion that has to meet a certain standard.
Unfortunately nearly all participants of wireless services have to suffer under the poor interference suppression of many electronic or electric devices or systems.
In principle the CE-label should guarantee that the device keeps its noise suppression within safe limits. The entrepreneurial responsibility shows conformity that in many cases is not given. Very often reasons are ignorance, carelessness but intention, too. Marketing establishes priorities where price and design are more important than meeting the supposed noise suppression – because very often nobody will take notice…
Our EMC/EMI filter offer help putting things right to those who suffer from high noise levels. Filter for 230V applications have a compact design. They can simply be linked into the power line of the device causing disturbances. Thanks to attenuation of up to 60dB noise radiation of power lines can be reduced effectively to harmless values.
There is no question that radio amateurs have always paid attention to get the highest possible spectral purity of their signals. Besides modulation quality of the transmitted signal it is self evident that mode suppression and harmonic attenuation must be reduced so that other users of the spectrum are not affected.
Especially our filter FL-30 is very useful for harmonic attenuation of short wave transmitters. It is designed as low-pass filter and offers excellent filter quality having only small size.
In unfavourable cases problems might be caused by conducted interference to receiver units with insufficient far-off selectivity. Our high-pass filter HPF will help to keep frequencies below 50MHz away from VHF/UHF receivers.
We are always ready to help solving your problems. Whether technical or legal aspects, questions of electromagnetic compatibility etc, our effort will be to make sure that electronic systems are getting along together even more that of owners and users.
